Every year on the third of July, the cities of Fairway, Roeland Park, Westwood, Westwood Hills and Mission Woods present a spectacular Independence Day Fireworks Display. The fireworks are launched from the Bishop Miege baseball field. So, when the rockets flare, some of the best viewing is from the beautiful Mission North Lawn.

Celebrate in style with your own reserved table and/or an old-fashioned picnic you can pick up at the Mission at the Mission’s East building from 6-8pm before the display begins.

ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE SHAWNEE INDIAN MISSION.
Organized by the Shawnee Indian Mission Foundation, a 501c3 organization.
