Dear

Sir,

We are suddenly caled on by the Agent Maj. RW Cummins, lmmediately after our examination to make out our report, as he intends to leave for St. Louis in the morning and wishes to take our report with him and as two of the Committee are absent and I am confined to my bed by a severe fever we cannot make as full a statement of our Transaction as we could wish and indeed the Communication has to be made by a frlnd who I have called to my assistance and, as the Agent will present this in person we beg leave to refer you to him for any explanation you may require and herewith Present our report for your consideration which we hope will be satisfactory to you.
