The Mission land was once covered with our resilient native species. The Mission Rain Garden/Monarch Way Station showcases native plants today. The Mission’s Spring and Fall Native Plant Sales provide the opportunity to acquire these beautiful plants for your own private spaces. There is a wide selection. Come early to get what you want or pre-order and pick up your order at the Sale.
Mission Native Plant Sales also feature a ‘Pop Up’ of the Mission’s Three Springs Market. Find beautiful, unique hand-crafted items you won’t find anywhere else. A great source for gifts.
Be sure to order your fall plants from MO Wildflowers Nursery. MO Wildflowers Nursery has been a long-time loyal partner of the Shawnee Indian Mission. They donate a portion of the proceeds to the Mission every sale.
