Ind. Man. Lab. School
Sept. 30th 1845
Hon T. Hartley Crawford
Dear Sir,
Our school for the quarter ending this date has been very interesting and our prospects for the future still continue to be good.
We have been afflicted with sickness this fall in our Mission Family; some sixty cases of intermittent fever; but through the vigilance of our family Physician and the care of an over ruling Providence, all are well or nearly so.
There have been in regular attendance during the past quarter one hundred and eight pupils; seventy boys and thirty eight girls. Of this number forty were Delawares: twenty two boys and eighteen girls.
