F.L. Ind. M.L. School
March 31st 1852

Sir,

I have the honor to submit to you the accompanying documents as the Report of our School for the quarter ending March 31st 1852.

The total number of Scholars in attendance this quarter is eighty-eight, as you will see by reference to our school lists; this is an increase of thirteen over the number we had last quarter. Of this increase nine have been Delawares, making our present number of Delaware scholars eighteen.

The health of the schools continues good, and the scholars all appear to be making as much progress in their studies as can reasonably be expected.

Accompanying this report you will also receive my account of disbursements for this quarter with vouchers.

I have the honor to be yours etc.
Thos Johnson Supt.

Hon. Luke Lea
Com. Ind. Affs

[School report lists the following teachers; Female school – Ann E. Chick, and Mary J. Peery, Male school – T.S. Huffaker]
