   The following action was had by the Missionary Board–at the An. Meeting of the Bishop & Board, Apl. 19, 1861

   The proposition as presented by Bro. Scarritt—of Rev. Thos. Johnson—was accepted—

   The following Resolution was presented and on motion adopted.

   Resolved That the Sec. & Treas. of this Board (the Rev. E.W. Sehon &. Rev J.B. McFerrin) are hereby authorized to sell the property of the Miss. Soc. of the M. E. Ch. South in Kansas upon which the Shawnee Ma. L. School is situated & to transfer our interest & title to sd. property to Thomas Johnson upon the terms stated in his office to the Board.
