All proceeds from the Mission Tree Sale benefit the Mission and the Boy Scouts. The sale is a 100% volunteer effort. It is both learning and earning for the Scouts. Four area troops participate. Setting up the lot, working with customers, restocking, keeping the site picked up, and putting all the supplies away at the conclusion of the sale are all hands-on learning experiences for the Scouts. The funds are used by each troop’s discretion often to provide scholarships and to support their activities during the year.

The funds are used by the Mission’s Foundation to help meet its commitment to provide the operating funds that keep the Mission open to the public. The sale provides a little over a third of the revenues the Foundation needs to raise each year. Community support of the Mission’s various events, projects and annual giving are essential for the Mission today and for the Mission’s the future.
Thank you for your support!

100% of the proceeds are used to benefit the Shawnee Indian Mission and our local Boy Scout Troops.
