Curious about Mission history?  The Foundation website now allows you to explore Mission history in the land we call home from the comfort of wherever you happen to be.  Check out the timeline, which will be continually updated and expanded upon. This link will take you on an adventure in the past.  You will be able to read the documents that provide the facts we know.

  • What about the classical department that was organized in connection with the school?  You can read the report about its inception.
  • What was said about the Mission in the New York Tribune in 1850?  You can read the article.
  • Read letters and reports from Thomas Johnson, Jotham Meeker, Nathan Scarritt, Thomas Moseley, Jr., DD Mitchell, James Captain, Charles and John Fish and many more.

The ongoing Mission’s History section will continue to grow and be a resource for the curious, students doing reports, teachers, and scholars.  We cannot change history, but we can learn from it…from whence we have come may guide us in where we choose to go.
