July 3 Mission Picnic at the Fireworks on the Mission’s North Lawn Was a Blast!

The Mission north lawn was the prime viewing area for the fireworks on July 3 presented by the cities of Fairway, Roeland Park, and Westwood with contributions by Mission Woods & Westwood Hills. A new fireworks vendor treated everyone to a spectacular show!   The Foundation helped make the festivities even more fun by adding some appreciated amenities and benefiting the Mission at the same time.  Tasty fried chicken picnics for pick up.  Reserved tables with prime viewing and comfort.  Reserved parking at the Mission. We thank everyone who supported the Mission by reserving these amenities and also those who patronized the Mission concession stand.  Everyone had fun and the Mission benefited too!
